Display and Design
The Xiaomi Mi 5 flaunts a 5.15-inch display with a full HD screen resolution with a pixel density of 428ppi. The phone has a 3D ceramic glass with a metal frame and measures 7.2mm around the waist with a weight of 139 grams which give it an elegant and slim look. The device protects your personal data with fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button. Apart from fingerprint sensor, the phone comes with sensors like Accelerometer, Barometer, Compass, Gyroscope, IR Gesture and Proximity sensor.
Configuration and OS
The Mi 5 generates its strength from 2.2GHz dual-core + 1.5GHz dual-core processors seated on Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 Chipset. Assisting the processors are 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 graphics which is excellent for gaming and multitasking. The device is powered by Marshmallow, the latest version from Android.
Camera and Battery
The phone is equipped with a 16MP autofocus main camera with Exmor-RS CMOS sensor and optical image stabilisation which assist in snapping quality pictures. The other inbuilt features of the camera include Auto Flash, Continuos Shooting, Digital image stabilization, Exposure compensation, Face detection, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), ISO control, and Self-timer. For selfies, there is a f/2.0 aperture 4MP front camera with wide angle feature which allows you to click quality selfies too.
The smartphone is backed by 3,000mAh li-po battery which is non-removable in nature. The phone supports fast charging, with a 5 minutes of charge it can give a talktime of 2.5 hours as claimed by the company.
